FX BANK FORECAST · COOKIE POLICY

Cookie Policy

Effective 26 April 2026 — last reviewed 4 May 2026

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Some are stored in browser storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) rather than as traditional HTTP cookies. Both types are covered by this policy. We use the term “cookies” to refer to both.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to operate. These are set regardless of consent. They include session authentication tokens, theme preferences, and your stored consent record itself. Without them, core functionality is unavailable.

Analytics

Used by our own first-party analytics system. No data is sent to any third-party provider. The fx-session cookie contains only a random UUID — it encodes no personal information. Your IP address is never stored; a daily-rotating cryptographic hash is used instead. We also derive a coarse device classification (desktop / mobile / tablet, browser family, operating system) from your browser's user-agent header, and we record any UTM campaign parameters present in the URL of pages you visit. Do-Not-Track is honoured.

Marketing

Currently no marketing cookies are set. This category will not be activated without a policy update and renewed consent.

Network-operator metadata (B2B traffic analysis)

We capture organization-level network metadata — the Autonomous System Number (ASN) and registry organisation name from the visitor’s network operator — for B2B traffic analysis. ASN data is public infrastructure information and does not include the visitor’s IP address, name, or any personal identifier. Aggregated by org name, never by individual. This metadata is used solely to understand which institutional networks reach our research and is never combined with personal data, sold, or shared with third parties.

ASN data is sourced from MaxMind’s GeoLite2 free database, refreshed weekly at build time. Lookup happens at the API boundary; the visitor’s IP address is never persisted. Per MaxMind’s attribution requirement: this product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com.

fx-sessionAnalyticsPseudonymous session UUID used by our first-party analytics system to distinguish page sequences within a single visit. The cookie contains only a random UUID — it encodes no personal information. Used alongside a daily-rotating IP hash to count unique visitors and track session behaviour including entry page, device type, and acquisition channel (organic search, referral, email, social, paid, or direct). Any UTM campaign parameters present in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) are recorded with the pageview but are not stored in cookies. No data is shared with any third party. Do-Not-Track is honoured: if DNT=1, this cookie is not set and no pageview is recorded.1 yearFX Bank Forecast

Managing your preferences

You can update your consent at any time by clicking “Manage preferences” in the cookie notice at the bottom-left of the screen, or by using the button below to reopen the notice on this page. You can also clear all stored preferences by deleting the fx-cookie-consent cookie in your browser’s developer tools; the notice will reappear on your next visit.

Your browser may also offer native controls to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking necessary cookies will impair site functionality including authentication.

Changes to this policy

When we make material changes to how we use cookies, we increment the consent version number. If the stored version does not match the current version, the consent notice is shown again and fresh consent is requested.
